April showers bring May Flower DAYS to Eastern Market. The annual Flower Day event is re-imagined for another year as gardeners and flower enthusiasts are invited to shop the Market multiple days throughout the month of May.

After a long winter, we’re ready for the vibrant colors of spring. Stock up on potted plants, annual flowers, shade trees and greenery at Eastern Market on Tuesdays and Saturday in May.  The special Flower Season Tuesday Markets are 9am to 3pm every week in May. You can also find a bounty of greenhouse vendors at Saturday Markets from 6am to 4pm through June.

Eastern Market is one of our favorite places to explore in the city. Find fresh produce, shop local grocers, and eat well at food trucks and restaurants (Stache International is a personal favorite). There is plenty of FREE and secure parking. Our favorite place to park is at Riopelle and Wilkins (it’s also where you can find an entrance to the Dequindre Cut!). Here’s a map of all the parking options.

Take a colorful family photo during your visit and see how many murals you can find. Here’s a map of Eastern Market’s murals.
