Beginning with strawberry picking in June, there’s nothing better than taking the kids out on the ‘train’ to fill baskets full of fresh produce. Not only is it great fun, it also helps kids learn where their food comes from and what it looks like before it arrives in the grocery store.

Lavender Market //  July 15th – 17th

Discover lavender’s beauty and health benefits at Blake’s annual Lavender Market. The open-air marketplace will host over 150 Michigan artisans, DIY workshops, educational speakers, children’s activity tent and u-pick lavender. There will also be delicious lavender-infused treats for sale, from lemonade and cupcakes to Blake’s Hard Cider and Blake’s Brewing Co. limited edition lavender-infused hard cider and beer. Tickets are $12 per person and children 12 and under are free. 

Blake’s Backyard

Blake’s Backyard is a newly renovated greenhouse with outdoor dining. Pick out flowers, greens and trees for your garden, enjoy a family meal and stock up on cider and donuts for the drive home.

Summer Campfires
