Find FREE family fun in Ferndale at the community’s NEW splash pad at Martin Road Park.
Martin Road Park features two separate play structures, a splash pad, basketball hoop, baseball diamonds, a soccer field, large pavilion, huge shade trees, indoor bathroom, and a sledding hill for winter months.
The first playground hosts two structures – one for toddlers and one for bigger kids. Two swing sets, for both infants and older kids as well. Four different slides, a firepole and a climbing wall. This structure is located near the stairs of the sledding hill and is a bit further away from the splash pad.
The second newer play structure is much closer to the splash pad. It is partially shaded and features a telescope, three different slides and monkey bars. It is located close to the bathroom and pavilion as well.
The new splash pad features a dumping bucket that fills every 2.5 minutes. Water cannons, a spinning frog, multiple water jets coming from the ground, as well as a tower you can spin. The water is warm so your kids will be able to enjoy the fun longer!
The Martin Road Splash Pad is open daily from 10am to 8pm. Indoor restrooms are on site along with a nicely shaded pavilion and two play structures.
