Explore the Nature Center

The Nature Center is tucked away in a beautiful area of the park and has two large woodland ponds, hiking trails, and a butterfly garden. Inside the Nature Center building you’ll find live animals such as snakes, frogs, turtles and interactive exhibits. The Nature Center also offers in-person programming for children and families , summer camps, and homeschool classes.

Upcoming, Outdoor In-Person Programming:

(Entry inside the Nature Center is currently closed due to Covid but in-person programming and nature trails are open.)

Spend the Day at the Beach

Stony Creek has two separate sandy beaches located in the park. Both beaches are open beginning Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day and open from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. throughout the summer. Eastwood Beach is the most popular for families and has a food bar, inflatable waterslide, playground and paddleboard rentals.

Visit a Playground

There are many play structures scattered throughout the park but the playscape at Eastwood Beach is the most popular! The playground takes up almost one acre of the beachfront and features a massive cable spider web, slides, bridges, spinners and climbing structures.
