Join us for 40 magical nights with millions of LED lights illuminating trees, buildings and more than 280 sculptures throughout the front half of the Zoo. Experience the magic of the Detroit Zoo in winter as you take in the sights and sounds of the season. For guests of all ages!
Wild Lights guests will enjoy masterfully designed, festive vignettes and seasonal treats. The Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, showcasing award-winning photography, will be making its North American premiere at the Detroit Zoo this season and is included with Wild Lights admission.
Back by popular demand, the Polar Patio package, sponsored by Key Bank, offers a private dining experience. The package includes admission to Wild Lights and the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibit, all-you-can-eat food and dessert, hot cocoa in a souvenir cup and a cash bar.
Capacity of Wild Lights has been limited. All tickets must be purchased in advance online or at the Detroit Zoo during daytime hours; walk-up tickets will not be sold at the gate.
This is a rain or shine event, held mostly outdoors. Don’t forget to dress for the weather. Masks for all guests ages 5 and up are required indoors.
Please keep in mind that parking is an additional $8. Children under 2 are admitted to Wild Lights for free. Member discounts do not apply.
