The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History opened in 1965 to open minds and change lives through the exploration and celebration of African American history and culture. And Still We Rise: Our Journey Through African American History and Culture is the museum’s 22,000 square foot, immersive core exhibit and the largest, single exhibition surveying the history of African Americans.
It will now be opened to the public again! To ensure social distancing, please schedule your admission. Upon arrival, safety protocols will require you to:
● Wear a face mask at all times
● Maintain at least six feet of distance from others
● Use our sanitizing stations upon entry and throughout your visit.
The exploration and celebration of African American history and culture may look a little different, but together, we can make it just as safe as it is impactful and exciting!
