More than 100 life-sized themed Skeletons – created by Begonia Brothers of Northville – will once again come alive and inhabit Downtown Northville for the month of October. The Skeletons are Alive Launch Party takes place Friday, October 5 from 6-9 p.m. in Town Square (across from the Marquis Theatre on Main Street) as part of Downtown Northville’s spooktacular October in the ’Ville events for the whole family to enjoy.

Residents and friends of Northville are invited to join presenting sponsor, NextHome All Pro Realty, and the Northville Downtown Development Authority in welcoming the boney guests to the downtown during the annual celebration. Guests may see a rock star, construction worker, weightlifter, a starlet and a fisherman among the skeletons or even a skeleton got on bended knee proposing to his sweetheart and so many more themed skeletons. The Skeletons Are Alive Launch Party on October 5 also features a stilt walker welcoming the crowd from 5:30-6:30 p.m., a ribbon cutting, and live music from Dale Hicks Band throughout the evening.

While enjoying the entertainment, guests can enjoy kettle corn from Mystic Kettle, cider and doughnuts from Parmenter’s Cider Mill, coffee from Sweet Brew n Spice Café and street tacos from Edwards Café and Caterer. The evening will also feature food trucks along Main Street, including Slows to Go (BBQ) and Hero or Villain (sandwiches), and Bigalora Wood Fire Pizza (pizza).

For those who want to get into the Halloween spirit even more, guests are encouraged to dress in Halloween costumes. While on site, all guests can also visit the face painting station, a paid activity, from 6-8 p.m. or take fun pictures in the photo booth, the newest event attraction, from 6-9 p.m. Good to Glow also returns with glow novelties and toys for purchase.

Event attendees can stroll through town and also enjoy the First Friday Experience hosted by the downtown Northville galleries, shops & restaurants.
