Satartday Virtual Papermaking

Join us for our September SatARTday presented by First State Bank featuring Detroit-based artist Meg Heeres for a virtual introduction to paper-making.

Using easy-to-find and recycled materials, you can take part in the experience of making handmade paper. We will begin with making the simple equipment to make paper, and then lead participants through the process for sheet-forming. With adult help to make the necessary equipment, this class is appropriate for all ages. Get ready to get wet and to have fun experimenting with paper!

Art kits will be available for pick-up from Anton Art Center prior to the event. Some materials will be needed from home, a blender, duct tape, tub, sponge and towels.
