The whole family will enjoy this fun filled Nature Fest, though the event looks a little different than it did in years past!
Come and see one of the few nesting pairs of bald eagles in Wayne County. A viewing table will display replicas from life long ago as well as pelts, nests and other evidence of animals living today. Living amphibians and reptiles will be on hand at the animal tent.
We will have a Naturalist led hike as well as a pollinator program in each session. There will be a number of canoes on hand for free 30 minute canoeing sessions. Sign up at the information station if you are interested in any of these, as there is a limit on the number of people who may participate. Fishing is allowed at the park, so if you are interested feel free to bring a pole and some bait. Neither will be provided at the event.
Pre-registration is required online for both adults and children, though event is Free.
Masks are required to attend event.
