With Halloween right around the corner, we’re going to double-down on the spook factor by meeting some of our favorite frighteningly friendly critters. We will be able to hold, handle and pet some gigantic cockroaches from Madagascar, get up-close and personal with a tarantula from Chile, and decorate our necks with the breathing necktie that is our African ball-python. Throughout the whole adventure we will be learning about their habitats, diets and unique adaptations that allow these creepy critters to survive where they do. We might even learn that the creepier side of nature isn’t that creepy after all! Before all is said and done we will even put together our own snake puppet to frighten our friends and family.
