Details:
Two cemetery walks for the price of one! Enjoy a guided amble through the sands of time as we explore two small, historic graveyards: Beach Road Cemetery in Troy and Aaron Webster Cemetery in Auburn Hills.
First, park at Beach Road Park in Troy on the west side of Beach Road, just south of Long Lake Road. From there, we’ll walk to the cemetery where we’ll use a DAR reading to find information from missing headstones. Next, we’ll drive to Squirrel Road in downtown Auburn Hills to explore Aaron Webster Cemetery.
Must be able to walk the distance to Beach Cemetery and stand for minutes at time; program and travel time will be near 100 minutes.
