Our Blossom Parent-Child Program provides the opportunity for children ages 31-48 months (2.5 – 4 years by session start date) to come together with their beloved caregiver in an environment that is safe, developmentally appropriate and emotionally nurturing. This unique program meets one day a week, and encourages young children to explore and socially engage in the wonders of imaginative play with simple toys made of natural materials.
Children are tenderly guided through the gentle rhythm of each class including free play, circle time, and puppet plays. These experiences provide young children with a rich experience of music and rhyme. Parents and caregivers can participate in an array of activities under the guidance of an experienced Waldorf Early Childhood teacher. These activities include, Waldorf artistic projects, discussions about child development, parenting issues and Waldorf Education, bread baking and more!
Class Offerings include: free-imaginative play, observation and mindfulness exercises, puppet plays, singing, storytime, finger games, circle time (songs, finger play, nursery rhymes), snack preparation, Waldorf artistic activity and outdoor play.
