EASTER EGG HUNTS AROUND METRO DETROIT

The Easter Bunny is set to officially arrive on Sunday, April 1st, however, there’s plenty of opportunities to put on your running shoes and collect all of his eggs in the weeks leading up to the big day!
FRIDAY, MARCH 23
SPRING FLING EGG HUNT
DRAKE SPORTS PARK, WEST BLOOMFIELD @ 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Cost: $6 per child (residents) / $8 per child (non-residents)
Hunt for eggs and turn them in for treats! Mr. and Mrs. Bunny will be there, so bring your camera and a basket to carry your goodies. A petting farm and train rides will round out the event.
SATURDAY, MARCH 24
BREAKFAST WITH THE BUNNY
MEADOW BROOK HALL, ROCHESTER @ 9:00am – 11:00am

Come celebrate the start of spring with your family at Meadow Brook Hall with everyone’s beloved floppy-friend: the Easter Bunny! Children of all ages will enjoy this festive event.
HURON VALLEY EASTER EGG HUNT

Come enjoy a fun filled morning hosted by the Huron Valley Chamber of Commerce. Easter egg hunt, goodie bags and face painting are all part of the fun!

Bring the kids out to enjoy a variety of Easter and spring-themed activities! Maximize your experience by registering for the Easter Bunny Breakfast which takes place just prior to this event in the Summit’s Grand Ballroom! Ages 11 and under.

Cost: $6 per person
Tickets may be purchased at Hunter Community Center – price includes breakfast (French toast sticks and sausage) and a visit with the Easter Bunny!
THE EASTER BUNNY ARRIVES
THE VILLAGE OF ROCHESTER HILLS @ 11:00am – 4:00pm
Cost for the event is $5 per child, or a maximum of $15 per family.
There will be an interactive egg hunt with lots of fun prizes and activities. There will be a petting zoo with the opportunity to interact and feed the animals. Plus, Stan Safety the Magical Fireman will be there!

Cost: $8 (resident) / $12 (non-resident)
This is not your ordinary egg hunt! We will start with a pizza lunch, followed by an activity and then head out to the egg patch to search for eggs. A bag will be provided for the search and all children will receive a goody bag. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult.
BEVERLY HILLS EASTER EGG HUNT
BEVERLY PARK, BEVERLY HILLS @ 1:00pm – 3:00pm

Send your kids on a hunt for more than 10,000 eggs in Beverly Park. Kids will have an opportunity to play on inflatable obstacle courses and bounce houses, in addition to children’s games and activities, face painting, snacks and beverages, and a chance to visit with the Easter Bunny.

Join in the fun and have an EGG-citing time! Decorate eggs, an Easter bag, go on an Easter egg hunt, hear about the legend of the Easter Bunny and even meet him in person! There will be games and lots of fun activities that will keep you hopping with excitement! NOTE: Please bring your own hard-boiled eggs! Recommended for ages 3+

Kids ages 2-13 years old and their families are invited out for some EGGS’pecially fun activities including: the return of Gordon Russ’ Hipitty-Hopitty Magic Show, the Chamberlin Petting Zoo, cookie decorating, games, crafts, face painting, moonwalk and inflatable obstacle course and more! Cost: Bring a food donation and receive discounted entrance fees of $13/adult and $9/child
Two days of “egg-cellent” family fun are planned for the Detroit Zoo’s annual Bunnyville celebration, featuring educational programing, live entertainment, zookeeper talks and much more! Guests can take part in a golden egg hunt, with more than 100 eggs hidden throughout the Zoo each day. The festivities also include whisker painting, learning stations, and exclusive photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny.
THE GREAT MARSHMALLOW DROP
CATALPA OAK COUNTY PARK, SOUTHFIELD @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Cost: FREE
15,000 marshmallows will be dropped from a helicopter to be turned in for a prize at The Great Marshmallow Drop. Children will participate by age groups: ages 4 and younger and individuals with disabilities; ages 5-7, and ages 8-12. The helicopter will fly over three times, once for each age group. Only one marshmallow is needed for a prize.

This year, the Easter Bunny will be greeting children in Josephine’s Playhouse, so you can capture photos of that special moment. Then meet some new furry friends at a petting zoo, and hunt for Easter eggs on the Ford House grounds.
