Get ready for family fun and festivities on the Detroit Riverfront. Shimmer on the River celebrates 20 years of the Detroit Riverfront on Thursday, June 22nd.
Everyone is invited to attended the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy’s Shimmer on the River fundraising event at Robert C. Valade Park on Thursday, June 22nd. This family-friendly event will be filled with all-ages fun, featuring show-stopping music from the world-famous Prince tribute band, the Purple Xperience, a festive Riverfront Boardwalk lined with summer activities and giveaways, the Delta Dental Adventure Park returns for another year and will be filled with games, inflatables, and obstacle courses, a kids dance party, a strolling dinner from Detroit’s favorite food trucks, and more!
Tickets to Shimmer on the River are $150 each and include access to the main event from 6 to 9 p.m., a strolling dinner and refreshments, live entertainment, prizes, games and free admission for up to two children 12 and under. The Detroit Riverfront Conservancy is a non-profit organization that manages and maintains the city’s stunning attraction.
