Spend family day on the farm that’s located in the middle of the city. Detroit Farm and Cider hosts weekly Harvest Fests this fall and you don’t want to miss out.

There’s something for everyone in the city and Detroit Farm and Cider has something everyone needs to see. The urban farm is open for u-pick in the summer and harvest gatherings in the fall. Grab cider and donuts (sourced from Parmenter’s) and gather around the bonfire to take in the season like never before.

Kids can take turns on the kiddie zipline, climb the haystack, say hi to the roaming chicken and baby goats before the entire family hops in the tractor for a tour of the orchards.

The rustic adventure is a breath of fresh air. Located in the middle of a westside neighborhood, Detroit Farm and Cider is a great reminder that things grow where they are planted and  everything is possible.

Harvest Fest is every Sunday from 1pm to 7pm until December 6th. Admission is free and there is a large lot for parking cars but no public restrooms.
