Daily Inspiration Guide for Those Home with Kids: Under The Sea

Each day, join LittleGuide on a themed adventure full of activities, crafts, nature and games that will help you and your littles have fun at home. We could all use a beach vacation so let’s have some fun in the sun – and inside – with our favorite under water friends.
8:00 AM – Turn up the heat in the house and put on your summer clothes because when you can’t travel to the beach, you bring the beach to you.
9:00 AM – Make an aquarium on your wall with these easy ocean animal crafts.
10:00 AM – Soak up the sun with beach ball catch, bubbles and an outdoor dance party
11:00 AM – Bath time! Fill the tub with bubbles and toys and have fun.
12:00 PM – Make something sweet – Mermaid treats or cookies, ocean pudding cups or cupcakes
1:00 PM – Quiet Time – Try some boredom busters with Goldfish crackers
2:00 PM – Watch your favorite under water adventure or check out the new hit from Down Under – Bluey on Disney+
4:00 PM – Take a field trip to the Aquarium. Watch the live animal cams at Monterey Bay Aquarium or the Georgia Aquarium and see how animals learn to play and engage at the Shedd Aquarium
5:00 PM – Have seafood for dinner. Feeling fancy? Check out the recipe from Guernsey below.
6: 00 PM – Let them get soaked at the water table or messy at the sand table before changing into PJs.
7:00 PM – Play a game of ‘Go Fish’
8:00 PM – Bedtime! You survived.
We know that times are hard and resources can be scarce. Please note that these activities are simply meant to be a guide to help you fill the day and inspire ideas that fit your family. Try all of the activities, just a couple, or simply watch a movie and cuddle on couch – whatever makes your family feel happy and safe during times of uncertainty is the best thing to do.
