These are trying times and Troy Gymnastics wants to help. The popular play place just launched a Virtual Learning Support…
Each day, join LittleGuide on a themed adventure full of activities, crafts, nature and games that will help you and your littles have fun at home. Laughter is good for the soul so let’s be silly for a day.
8:00 AM – Pull out that old prankster The Elf On The Shelf or let a favorite stuffed buddy start the day with some hi-jinxs – here are some clever ideas
9:00 AM – Let the kids dress themselves and surprise your kids by dressing a little ‘foolishly’ for the day
10:00 AM – Introduce your kids to optical illusions and decipher tricky pictures.
11:00 AM – Cluck like a chicken, roar like a dinosaur, what silly things will Simon Say? Play the game outside and give the kids a chance to run around too.
12:00 PM – Make funny face sandwiches for lunch.
1:00 PM – Quiet Time – Animal farts, boogers and sun sneezes, thinkin stinkin are a few fun and funny topics on the Brains On podcast.
2:00 PM – Watch your favorite funny movie. The Goonies, Mrs. Doubtfire, The Muppets are always good for a laugh. If you want to go old school, Bringing Up Baby is a vintage screwball comedy all ages can enjoy.
4:00 PM – Riddle me this – try to solve these 10 math riddles as a family.
5:00 PM – Breakfast for dinner anyone?
6: 00 PM – Use the funny faces filters and call your grandparents. Tell them jokes to make them laugh.
7:00 PM – Stand-up storytelling, who can come up with the silliest story before bedtime
8:00 PM – Bedtime! You survived.
We know that times are hard and resources can be scarce. Please note that these activities are simply meant to be a guide to help you fill the day and inspire ideas that fit your family. Try all of the activities, just a couple, or simply watch a movie and cuddle on couch – whatever makes your family feel happy and safe during times of uncertainty is the best thing to do.
