Each day, join LittleGuide on a themed adventure full of activities, crafts, nature and games that will help you and your littles have fun at home. J.K. Rowling has launched Harry Potter at Home for families around the world and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than a day full of our wizarding favorites.

8:00 AM – Start your day with the Sorting Hat and wear your House colors.

9:00 AM –  Wizards need wands. Make your own wand with materials from home – these pencil wands are pretty cool too.

10:00 AM – Hogwarts is now in session – spend some time on homeschool (find free online lessons for all ages here).

11:00 AM – Play Quidditch in the backyard or inside

12:00 PM – Send a message to a friend – write a message or hop on a video chat to talk to your Harry, Hermione and Ron.

1:00 PM – Quiet Time – Make some Butterbeer hot chocolate and write a story like J.K. Rowlings

2:00 PM – Watch your favorite Harry Potter movie

4:00 PM – Practice your magic with these Harry Potter Science experiments

5:00 PM – Have bangers and mash for supper

6: 00 PMMake a washcloth Hedwig for bathtime.

7:00 PM – Cuddle up and listen to the first Harry Potter book read by Stephen Fry – it’s free on Audible.

8:00 PM – Bedtime! You survived.

We know that times are hard and resources can be scarce. Please note that these activities are simply meant to be a guide to help you fill the day and inspire ideas that fit your family. Try all of the activities, just a couple, or simply watch a movie and cuddle on couch – whatever makes your family feel happy and safe during times of uncertainty is the best thing to do.
