Each day, join LittleGuide on a themed adventure full of activities, crafts, nature and games that will help you and your littles have fun at home. Since our littles are missing their friends so much, today is all about reconnecting with the friends that we haven’t seen in awhile.

8:00 AM –  Coordinate with a friend’s parent so your kids wear matching (or themed) outfits. Take a picture and send it to each other for a Twin Day.

9:00 AM – Make Amish Friendship Bread Muffins for breakfast.

10:00 AM – Make friendship bracelets or take a picture to send to a friend (either via mail or just a phone picture).

11:00 AM – Take a walk by a friend’s house and leave a message in chalk on the sidewalk for them to see when they go outside.

12:00 PM – Lunch date. Hop on Zoom, Skype or FaceTime and let them ‘virtually’ have lunch together.

1:00 PM – Quiet Time – Pick out your favorite books from your home library that tell the story of good friends.

2:00 PM – Send your friend something special. A homemade card or a present ordered online, give your kids a chance to surprise their friend with a treat.

3:00 PM – Watch Christopher Robin on Netflix – the live action tale of Winnie the Pooh and his friend for a lifetime.

5:00 PM – We all remember the Foosball Table from Friends, here’s how you can make your own (with a shoe box).

6: 00 PM – During family dinner, talk to your kids about why they can’t see their friends right now and ask how they feel about it.

7:00 PM – Put up pictures of your kid’s friends in their room to look at when they miss them.

8:00 PM – Bedtime! You survived.

We know that times are hard and resources can be scarce. Please note that these activities are simply meant to be a guide to help you fill the day and inspire ideas that fit your family. Try all of the activities, just a couple, or simply watch a movie and cuddle on couch – whatever makes your family feel happy and safe during times of uncertainty is the best thing to do.
