CHRISTMAS BREAK CAMPS IN METRO DETROIT

Christmas and New Year’s fall on a Wednesday this year. If you need someone to watch the littles while school is out, here are some ideas.
Boll Family YMCA (Detroit)
December 26 & 27 + January 2 & 3
Ages: 5-13
When school is out, students in grades K-8 can join the YMCA for a full day of fun and excitement. Join us for crafts, games, nature education, swimming, character development and more!
Cost: $50 per day for non members or $40 per day for members.
Franklin Athletic Club (Southfield)
December 20, 23, 26, 27 & 30 + January 2 & 3
Ages: 3 – 12
Head to the FAC for an exciting day of games, swimming, tennis, and so much more! Bring a lunch (or $6 for pizza), a water bottle, swimsuit, and a great big smile!
Cost: $85 per day, $330 per week for non members, $75 per day, $280 per week for members. Discounted rates available for early registration.
Detroit City Football Club Fieldhouse (Detroit)
December 26 – 28
Ages: 6-17
Kids will learn the fundamentals in a fun and engaging environment alongside experienced coaches and former DCFC players.
Cost: $175 pre-registration; $200 walk-on
Troy Gymnastics (Troy)
December 23, 26, 27 & 30 + January 2 & 3
Ages: 3-12
Troy Gymnastics offer Half day options for 3-12 years old or a Full day option for 4-12 years old. A fun-filled day of gymnastics and games.
Cost: $60 per day, $30 per half day
High Velocity Sports (Canton)
December 23, 26, 27 & 30 + January 2 & 3
Ages: 5 – 13
Fun Days are run by HVS Staff and include sports stations from 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm. Before care and after care include movies, board games, etc. Electronics are allowed before and after camp and from 12:30pm-1pm at lunch
Cost: $5 per hour
Stars and Stripes Kids (Clarkston)
December 27 + January 2 & 3
Ages: 5 – 12
This camp is great for kids who just want to play. Campers will use all the gym equipment, mats and accessories available at Stars & Stripes to have a great time! We have a jammed packed itinerary of fun that includes inflatable bouncers, forts, arts & crafts, outside play time, snowman building, hide-n-seek in the dark, and so much more!
Cost: $33 for half day or $66 for a full day
Livonia YMCA (Livonia)
December 26 – 28+ January 2-4
Ages: 3-12

Macomb YMCA (Mount Clemens)
December 21, 26 – 28 + January 2
Ages: 5-12

Ann Arbor Art Center (Ann Arbor)
December 30 & 31 + January 2-3
Ages: 5-12
Art Camps for Kids are designed to cultivate cognitive development through hands-on art projects that leverage collaboration, experimentation, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Families can choose between Creativity Camps for ages 5-12 and Clay Camps for ages 9-12.
Cost: $146-$156 per 2-day camp
Beverly Hills Club (Beverly Hills)
December 23, 26, 27 & 30
Ages: 5-12
Schools Off, Camps On is a fun, safe, and supervised camp for kids 5 and older while school is off. Families can choose from full-day, half-day AM or PM options, and pre and post-camp care.
Cost: $55-$83 per day
Creative Arts Studio (Royal Oak)
December 26 & 27, 30 & 31 + January 2 & 3
Ages: 6-14
The Holidays are here! That means it’s time to sign up for our Holiday Break Art Camp! Over the course of the holidays, campers will get to try out everything there is to offer at the studio. Campers will use the pottery wheel, hand build with clay, work with mosaics and glass fusing, paint on canvas, and even make a few wax hands!
Cost: $100 per 2 day session
Rochester Avon Recreation Authority (Rochester)
January 2 & 3
Have fun with RARA traveling around the area on fun-filled field trips. This 2-Day camp is located at the RARA Building and is modeled on the successful Spring Break Camp. Trips could include AirTime in Sterling Heights, The Henry Ford Museum, or Avon North Hills for bowling!
Cost: $80-100 per day
The Robot Garage (Birmingham & Rochester Hills)
December 23, 27 & 30 + January 2 & 3
The Robot Garage locations offer two fun camp options for kids in kindergarten through 8th grade. Holiday Video Game + Design Camp is perfect for kids who love video games and includes coding and game design. Hogwarts Holiday Camp is for fans of Harry Potter. If you don’t love Harry Potter, you’re going to be a fan by the end of the day. Campers will be broken into different LEGO and LEGO robotics workshops throughout the day as they create an original Harry Potter-themed holiday installation. Before and aftercare options available.
Cost: $89 per day
TGA Sports (Auburn Hills, Commerce and Fraser)
December 23, 26, 27 & 30
TGA winter-break camps provide a great opportunity for kids aged 5-17 to work on their golf games in warm, comfortable surroundings. There are eight individual sessions. Winter break camp features state-of-the-art simulators, plus a putting green. Students will be guided through instruction and simulated rounds of golf.
Cost: $49 per day
