Head out to the ballpark and cheer on the Miracle League Michigan teams this fall. The 2021 season begins on September 18th for six consecutive Saturday games.

As summer is wrapping up, I cant help but think of one of our most favorite activities. If you have never heard of Miracle League of Michigan, you have got to check it out! The Miracle League is a charitable organization that provides children with disabilities an opportunity to play baseball as a team member in an organized league. It gives kids and young adults an authentic baseball experience with all the components of a true baseball league – amazing All-Stars, team jerseys, an announcer that calls each player onto the field and at the end of each game the two teams line up to give each other a high five.

The games are 2 innings and last about one hour and are played on a special field that allows wheelchairs and walkers to get around. The players play one game a week, and about 10 games in a season. The Miracle League of Michigan offers a non-competitive and a competitive league that play in Southfield and Lake Orion. If you’re looking for a feel good family activity for fall, this is it!
