After a(nother) difficult year, we all need to reset and refresh. The YMCA has the space and the place to do that. All 7 locations in metro Detroit offer strength and cardio equipment, indoor track, and a pool for the fitness routine of your choice. With FREE child watch services, it’s easy to plan your workout without worrying about what happens with the kids. If you would rather keep your kids with you, schedule a personal training session at the Birmingham Family YMCA. Your entire family can be in a workout room with an instructor for a family workout.

Swim lessons and workouts are popular fitness features but they’re also there for fun. The Boll Family Y (Detroit), Carls Family YMCA (Milford) and Downriver YMCA (Southgate) have family pools with slides and splash pads and you can reserve them for private play. Need a place for a winter birthday? The Farmington Family Y has a private warm temperature pool families can rent for parties.

For 170 years the YMCA has been working in our community and to celebrate this milestone, The Y has challenged everyone in the community to log 170 minutes of movement a week on the easy to use Y170 Challenge Fitness app (available in the App Store and Google Play).
