It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… make the holiday extra special with a trip to Blake Farms in Armada to find the perfect tree (and take the perfect family photo), have dinner in an igloo, stock up on a sweet treats and hit the ice at the skating rink.
There’s nothing quite like bundling up and walking through a field of trees to find the perfect one for your family room. Make some memories, snap a photo for your Christmas card and have fun at Blake’s this holiday season.
Beginning November 19th Blake’s will transform into a Winter Wonderland and on Saturday, November 20th at 5pm they will host the inaugural Tree Lighting Ceremony! There are other special dates to add to the calendar too:
- Mistletoe Market (November 20 & 21): Shop local makers, artisans, shop owners, and boutiques
- Anna & Elsa Visit Blake’s (December 12): Join us for a day of Frozen fun at Blake’s and meet your favorite princesses, Anna & Elsa!
- Grinch Ornament Craft (December 18 & 19): Come out to the farm and enjoy an afternoon with the Grinch and enjoy making your own Christmas ornament, endless photo opportunities, cider & donuts.
The 2,000 square-foot outdoor ice-skating rink at Blake’s Orchard and Cider Mill opens for the season on November 19th and will be open daily. Reserve your spot on the ice and pay online here. Skating costs $10 per person, with $5 for skate rental or guests can bring their own.
Blake’s is open from 8am to 6pm every day from November 19 to December 23, giving you plenty of time to find a tree, go on a wagon ride, and enjoy some warm donuts and hot cider or family dinner in an igloo.
