Want to get inspired? Make plans to visit Blue Line Farm in Livonia. The family operated urban farm is literally in Angela and Eddie’s backyard. Parents to 3 kids, they also care for a dozen goats, a couple picks, a flock of chickens, ducks, a couple barn cats and a guinea pig.

The couple have rehabbed a nearly 100 year old barn to be put to use as it was originally intended and invite visitors to come and say hi, feed the goats and attend special events. Motivated to create a sustainable space they make and sell soap and fresh chicken eggs. During the spring/summer you can check out the 15 bed vegetable garden.

Farm visits are $5 per person. Online reservations are required. The farm is open to the public on the third Saturday of each month (next date April 17th) and on select dates for home school visits (next date March 24th). More events are planned for warmer months, including goat yoga!

Parking: There are spot on the paved driveaway that can accommodate 5-6 cars. You can also park on the corner street down Ryan Road if parking is not available in front of the house.
