Blake’s Farm Share Program is Back For 2021

You don’t need to go to Armada to stock up on Blake Farm’s produce this spring. This year you can pick up your Blake’s Farm Share Box in Rochester and Birmingham too!
Last year, Blake Farms launched a farm share program to give customers access to a weekly box of fresh produce throughout the spring and summer. It’s time for year 2 and now you can pick up your weekly share at two new locations: Bakehouse46 in Rochester and Birmingham.
What’s a Farm Share?
A CSA Farm program is a partnership between the farmer and the customers. Customers make an annual commitment to the farm to purchase a “share of the season’s harvest”. This harvest is picked up weekly and contains a wide variety of fresh, in season fruits and vegetables as well as other farm treats such as our Blake’s famous donuts, sweet apple cider or jarred goods.
How Does It Work?
A share is a weekly box of local, fresh, sustainable produce that is picked up for 13 weeks (May 5th – July 28th). There are 2 types of shares – full or half. Our shares include a mix of fresh fruits and vegetables and from time to time other treats for example donuts, sweet cider, or a jarred goods. Your share will reflect the growing season – the contents will always be changing.
What Does It Cost?
A Full Share is ideal for a family or a couple that loves eating healthy and will be approximately a full bushel box of produce each week. The full share is $485 for the 13-week season ($37 a week). A Half Share is ideal for a couple or small family and is approximately a ½ bushel of produce a week. A Half Share is $325 for the 13-week season($25 a week).
Where Do I Sign Up?
Sign up for your Farm Share here. The registration deadline is Friday, April 30th and the first pick up is Wednesday, May 5th. Please note delivery is not available at this time. All Farm Share families must pick up their box on Wednesdays between 1pm to 7pm at Blake’s Orchard and Cider Mill, 17985 Armada Center Road or between 1pm to 9pm at either Bakehouse46 location in Rochester or Birmingham.
Registration for the spring session ends April 30th at 5pm!
