If you can walk, you can snowshoe! Snowshoeing is a popular “silent sport” and a fabulous way to enjoy a snowy winter day. Best of all, walking in snowshoes is easy and FUN for kids to try. Pick a trail from below, bundle up and strap on your snowshoes for some awesome winter family fun! 

 

MICHIGAN STATE PARKS allow snowshoeing at all locations and many are easily accessible from Metro Detroit. A recreation passport is required for entry.

 

All HURON-CLINTON METROPARKS and most of the OAKLAND COUNTY PARKS allow snowshoeing on the trails. Both require a parking pass or daily entry fee.
