Exciting news! The Henry Ford reopens for a Members Only Weekend July 2-5th and to the general public on July 9th! We can’t wait to visit and we’re sure you can’t either, here’s everything you need to know about what to expect at the zoo this summer.
In phase one of re-opening the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village will only be open Thursdays through Sundays with timed tickets for entry between 9:30am and 5:00pm. Purchase tickets (or register for a membership) online for touch-free entry. Tickets are available beginning June 22nd for both members and the general public.
For everyone’s health and wellness, all visitors (2 and up) must wear face masks to enter all venues but can be removed when social distance is kept. For your safety, some areas are marked “Mask On.”All members and guests visiting any venue or experience at The Henry Ford must abide by social distancing guidelines, keeping at least 6 feet away from staff and other guests/parties. There are also new cleaning policies and increased number of sanitary stations.
What You Can See/Do
To ensure a safe environment hands-on activities will be limited but there’s still plenty to see and do in both the Museum and Village. The Weiser Railroad will be operational upon opening and other rides may be opened later in the season.
If you’re hungry the Plum Market (Museum), A Taste of History (Village), and the custard stand (Village) will be open from 9:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on the days Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation and Greenfield Village are open.
Best of all the Marvel: Universe of Super Heroes exhibits opens in the Henry Ford Museum to the public on July 16th!
