Glowing Ghosts, Spooky Goblins, scare up a good time at Michigan Central Station in Corktown this Halloween. Hop in…
Cedar Point is the quintessential metro Detroit family vacation destination. Whether it’s an annual trip or a milestone marker, if you were planning to visit Cedar Point this year, you still can! The amusement park announced that it will be opening it’s doors on July 9th.
The initial two days (July 9th + 10th) opening at Cedar Point will be for season pass holders only. During the weekend it will extend to include Cedar Point Resorts guests. Following a successful reopening, the park will extend its operations to include guests to have pre-purchased tickets. Cedar Point’s Hotel Breakers and Lighthouse Point RV site will open in advance of the amusement park on June 12th for those who are okay skipping the rides and ready to relax pool/lakeside.
For everyone’s health and wellness, there are special rules in place for Cedar Point visits. You can review all of the new policies here but we’ve highlighted important measures below:
- All guests must complete a health screening declaration within the Cedar Point mobile app 24 hours prior to entering the park
- All guests and associates will undergo a touchless temperature screening prior to entering the park.
- Guests and associates will be required to wear a mask at all times.
- Social distancing markers and signage will be placed throughout the park to help keep guests at least six feet.
