The Detroit Riverfront’s West Riverfront is well underway and this month they announced another new addition to the site – the William Davidson Sport House.

The West Riverfront project features 5.5 miles of revitalized space along the Detroit River. The Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Centennial Park will be a 22-acre area was already set to feature a Water Wonderland, the Delta Dental Play Garden with an array of animal structures for kids to climb in and around and a large lawn that will be used for special events and programming. The Davidson Sports House adds a raised canopy and skylight that provides two public open-air basketball courts and flexible space for a range of programs and events.

From east to west the Detroit Riverfront is getting a massive makeover, check out the incredible 5-acre playground Delta Dental is funding at the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Centennial Park that will also open to the public in 2022.
