There are only a couple weeks left of summer and we are ready to make the most of every sunny, warm weather day we have left! Here are 8 family activities you’ll want to do this month.

Make A Splash

Cool down and have fun at a pool, beach or splash pad while you still can. Want to know our favorites? Clement Circle Pool (Livonia), Lake St. Clair Metropark beach (Harrison Township), and Indian Springs Spray ‘n’ Play (White Lake).

Drive-Thru Jurassic Quest

Have a roaring good time at DTE Energy Music Theatre and drive-thru an interactive Jurassic Quest dinosaur show featuring over 70 moving pre-historic animals.

Take A Train Ride

Head to Joy Park on Sundays for a 40 minute train ride with the Michigan Transit Museum.

Stop and Smell The Roses

Enjoy the summer blooms before they’re gone and visit a public garden – here are our favorites in metro Detroit and beyond.

Reading and Rhythm on The Riverfront

Head to the Riverfront for fun and FREE family time at Reading and Rhythm on the Riverfront. Listen to stories, dance to the music and take a ride on the carousel at Gabriel Richard Park. All kids get a free book to bring home too!

Go On An Air Adventure

Take a trip to the Yankee Air Museum and watch the Air Adventure Show from the ground or sign up for a flight! Kids must be at least 8 years old to ride.

Watch A Movie Under The Stars

The outdoor summer movie line-up is getting longer. Stay up past bedtime and watch a classic from the car or under the stars.
