Hawk Island Snow Tubing

Snow Tubing at Hawk Island is one of the state’s most popular winter tubing destination and reservations fill up FAST. Timed tickets are $11 per person. You’ll also find a castle themed playground and paved walking trails at the park too!

Impression 5

Impression 5 Science Center is an awesome interactive space for families to play, create, and challenge their understanding of science. The hands-on museum offers dedicated space for the littlest learners and lots of space for everyone interested in building, flying, bubbles and more. Families can make reservations for a timed visit. Admission is $12 for guests ages 2 and older.

Tour the Capitol Building

No trip to the state capital is complete without a tour of the Capitol Building. See where government functions during a guided tour of public areas including the Rotunda, Gallery of Governors and Senate and House galleries when available. Tours are free and offered Monday thru Friday.

Fenner Nature Center

The Fenner Nature Center offers a variety of activities including hands-on, interactive exhibits, collections of live, native reptiles and amphibians, and a viewing area to watch songbirds, deer and wild turkeys. The building is free to enter during open hours. You can also explore over 4 miles of trails.

Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at MSU

The Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum is dedicated to exploring contemporary culture and ideas through engaging and interactive art exhibits. The museum is free and located on the campus of Michigan State University – making it the perfect excuse to take a college tour.

Hike, Ski, Explore Woldumar 

With more than a mile of shoreline, Woldumar offers over 5 miles of trails that are great for cross-country skiing and snow shoeing on snowy days. Explore the historic buildings at the Nature Center – from Moon Log Cabin to Rotary Barn, there’s lots to see and experience.
