Looking to have ‘s’more’ fun this summer? Gather around the campfire and enjoy some sweet treats because it’s National S’mores Day on Friday, August 10th.

 

S’MORES DAY HIKE & CAMPFIRE

Thursday, August 9 / 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm

@ Marshbank Park, West Bloomfield

Do you love the melty yumminess of a s’more? Then we have a holiday for you! August 10th is National S’mores Day. Celebrate with a family-friendly campfire overlooking Cass Lake. Join our Park Naturalist, family and friends, for a guided hike followed by fun around the campfire roasting s’mores and trying a few new s’more recipes too. Registration required.

BACKYARD CAMPOUT

@ Leslie Science & Nature Center, Ann Arbor

Pitch your tent with our resident raptors and critters! Participate in nature-based programs, hikes, campfires, and much more at our seventh annual campout event. After you set up your tent, enjoy a bring-your-own picnic dinner (not included) at your leisure then enjoy and games and activities for the whole family. Don’t forget to make a s’more!

 

GREAT AMERICAN CAMP OUT

There’s nothing quite as relaxing as sitting around a campfire, roasting marshmallows and swapping stories. Bring your family, friends, camp chairs, outdoor games, and s’mores fixings. We’ll provide a blazing outdoor campfire and plenty of marshmallows.
