5 Ways To Virtually Explore The Henry Ford Museum

The Henry Ford is one of our favorite places to visit and if you’re missing it as much as we are, here are some ways to experience history at home.
Learn About History
Cuddle up on the couch and turn on Innovation Nation to get a unique look at The Henry Ford’s collection and hear stories about American inventors and change-makers. The weekly series is hosted by Mo Rocca and with 6 seasons, there’s plenty to learn.
Take A Virtual Tour
Get an up-close look and learn more about the Rosa Parks Bus, Dymaxion House, Sunshine Special and other iconic exhibits in the museum. From transportation to farming, and community life – take a look at all the objects in the museum’s collection.
Inspire Innovation From Home
The Henry Ford has made its Innovate curriculum available to the public for FREE. Innovate, geared toward middle school and high school students, is a four-course, self-paced program of studies that connects the core disciplines of STEAM and humanities together through digital content and activities. If you need lessons for littles, check out the Innovate for Tots lesson plans. You can also sign up for online live lessons available Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Make Somethings Delicious
Want to try a breakfast recipes from 1929? Or perhaps dessert from 1836. Explore the past through your plate and try a meal that is new to you.
Sign Up For A Membership
Show your support for The Henry Ford and start making plans for when you can see the animals in person by getting a family membership. A family membership is $185 for two adults and children in household under 18 (two visits and you’ve got your money’s worth).
