If you’re looking for holiday fun look no further than Rochester. From places to play during to day to illuminating light shows at night, Rochester has something for everyone.

The Big Bright Light Show

Holiday shopping is a lot more fun with a show and The Big Bright Light Show is a show you and the kids will love! The colorful display is lit every evening (5 pm – Midnight) starting from November 20th through January 3, 2021. Support small business this holiday season and take in the light show as you check names off your gift list.

Outdoor Fun @ Spencer Park

The popular play structure at Thelma Spencer Park has a new Gaga Ball pit! Read up on the sport and teach your kids how to play. Looking for more traditional fun? Go ice skating (skate rental is available).

Holidays at Van Hoosen Farmhouse

Step back in time and take a holiday tour of the Stony Creek School House + Van Hoosen Farmhouse at the Rochester Museum. Learn what family life was like in the 1840s and 1920s with Christmas displays and tour.

Warm Up With Cider & Donuts

It’s still fall until December 20th and that’s the only excuse we need to get cider and donuts. Rochester is home to 4 cider mills – we’ve tried them all and you’ll want to too! Check out our review of each location and decide where you want to go.

Winter Wonder Lights @ Meadow Brook Hall

Winter Wonder Lights is an exhilarating brand new attraction at Meadow Brook Hall that will bring the season to light for guests of all ages. The show takes place primarily outdoors, with an option to tour the main floor of the historic mansion decorated for the most wonderful time of the year. In addition to the light show there will also be bonfires, photo spots, live organ music, a delicious array of food and seasonally-inspired beverages available throughout the grounds.
