Family Fun @ Blake Farms
From afternoon adventures at Funland to train rides to u-pick and special events all summer long – including the Country To The Core festival the first weekend in June, there is LOTS to do at Blake Farms.
Huron-Clinton Metroparks
Use your library card to register for a FREE day pass to a Huron-Clinton Metropark with the Michigan Activity Pass. There are 3 in Macomb and you’ll want to visit all of them.
- Lake St. Clair Metropark: A massive playground, beautiful beach, lake side splash pad, waterpark, adventure golf and more – enjoy a full day of fun in the sun.
- Wolcott Mill Metropark Farm Center: The 250 acre working farm has all your littles favorite animals, nature trails and a barn themed playground with a massive tractor for kids to climb on!
- Stony Creek Metropark: Spend the day in nature, on the trails, at the beach or on the playground.
Halmich Park
Halmich Park in Warren is a must! The farm theme playground is fun to navigate with lots of fast slides, a maze, swings and ‘corral’. The highlight was the mini-stone ground the boys loved playing in and throwing down the slide (sandals not recommended). Address: 3001 13 Mile Rd., Warren, MI 48092
The Reptarium
Want to find more exotic animals? The Reptarium has reptiles or all kinds. Meet some of the world’s rarest reptiles – including a two-headed snake! Look and HOLD snakes, meet lizards, alligators and tortoises. Not only are there reptiles but you can also meet a variety of arachnids, amphibians and SLOTHS!
Urban Air Adventure Park
Need to get out the house and let the kids bounce on someone else’s wall? Head to Urban Air Adventure Park for ropes and warrior courses, indoor playground, sky riders and more!
