5 Gifts For Mom (& Grandma) You Can Get In Time For Mother’s Day

It’s hard to believe Mother’s Day is only days away. If you need gift ideas for the special woman in your life, here are quarantine friendly gift ideas.
Flowers
You can’t go wrong with flowers. Order then from a local florist, stop by a local nursery (many are doing contact-less pick up), pick some from your backyard (it’s dandelion season!) or make some with paper.
Photo Book
Pick out her favorite photos from the hundreds that have been living on social media and order a photo book (Walgreens has same day pick up), collect pictures already printed for a Accordion Photo Book or have the kids draw pictures of their favorite memories together.
Something Sweet
Here’s an amazing chocolate chip cookie recipe everyone will love. Bake plenty for mom and wrap some to drop off to grandma too. Dad’s make sure you clean the kitchen (it’s a gift she’ll love even more than the cookies!). Check out your local bakeries for delivery and pick-up options too.
Jewelry
Support a local business (City Bird in Detroit has pick up and local delivery) and buy mom something special. Get creative at home and make an up-cycled or salt dough necklace.
All The Little Things
Listen up Dads, Moms give so much of themselves to others, Mother’s Day is a great opportunity to return the favor and grant her ‘me-time’. Fuel up on caffeine and take on the kids for the day (no excuses) and give her the priceless gift of time.
- Freedom to stay up late AND sleep in the next day
- A clean house or simply a folded laundry pile and empty dishwasher
- Uninterrupted bathroom time
- The chance to eat in peace
- Time to check one thing off her to-do list
