If you’re looking for a day full of family fun look no further than Plymouth. Whether you want the charm of a historic downtown or an adventure in at a new playground, the city offers the best of both worlds.

SCARECROWS AT KELLOGG PARK

The City of Plymouth is hosts their annual Scarecrows in the Park from September 22 to November 2 and it’s well worth the visit. Take a family stroll through Kellogg Park, stop for pictures with your favorite displays (tag @littleguidedetroit for a repost), and support all of their local businesses sponsoring this year’s event.

FALL TREATS FOR THE FAMILY

Take a walk down Main Street for a stop at the Dairy Go Round to taste test their fall menu. The Cider Mill shake is a personal favorite. If mom or dad need a stronger pick-me-up go to Espresso Elevado (also on Main Street) for the Calabaza Latte + Campfire Cap.

GO TO A HALLOWEEN EVENT

Get ready to Trick or Treat on the Farm with The Art Attic. Reserve your tickets when they go on sale on August 30th because they will sell out.

PLYMOUTH ORCHARDS

Have fun on the farm at Plymouth Orchards, enjoy wagon rides, farm animals, hay bale towers, pumpkin picking…and of course, lots of cider + donuts! The orchard is open daily. Pumpkins are available beginning October 1st.

PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP PARK

Whenever we ask readers to share their favorite park, Plymouth Township Park aka McClumpha Park ALWAYS makes the list! Don’t believe me? #MomLife features Bella, Rachel and Bree all mentioned it as a must-visit. Enjoy all the sweater weather days we get and let the kids run around the playground. There is a wooden structure, modern structure, adorable train and plenty of walking paths.
