Heritage Park, Taylor

There’s lots to do at Heritage Park! Cool off at Lamarand Splash Field, visit the animals at the Petting Farm, stroll through the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens, fish at the pond and go for a stroll. Pack a lunch and prepare to spend the day at Heritage Park.


Bishop Park, Wyandotte

Pick up treats from Sugarr Craft Donuts + Coffee and head to Bishop Park to take in the Detroit River front. There’s a playground for kids and a walking path.


Elizabeth Park, Trenton

Did you know Wayne County has TWO island parks? Elizabeth Park is operated by Wayne County Parks and features nature trails (with picture perfect bridges), playgrounds, skate park and great views of the Detroit River.


Lake Erie Metropark, Brownstown

Play along Lake Erie. On the playground or on the trail, take in nature at Lake Erie Metropark.


Sterling State Park, Monroe

If swimming in a Great Lake is on your summer bucket list, head to the beach at Sterling State Park. There are picnic areas, trails and a modern playground too.
