Normandy Oaks (Royal Oak) 

The brand new playground at Normandy Oaks is perfect for kids who love to climb. The 40-acre park in Royal Oak, is designed with older kids in mind. They’ll love the ropes course and the cushion of AstroTurf too. Plan your visit during the summer months to enjoy the splash pad too.

Lower Huron Metropark (Belleville) 

Lower Huron Metropark’s new playground has something for everyone! The space themed space has a large creative toddler area, massive traditional structure with universally accessible slides and spaceship, a caged ninja warrior course, swings for all ages and abilities AND a climbing slide that genuinely challenges kids to reach for the stars!

Sullivan Park (Royal Oak)

Perfect for littles of all ages, our kids LOVED visiting Sullivan Park. With a zip line, twister merri-go-round, climbing ropes, circular spinners and creative play equipment – it was so cool to see features here that you don’t usually see at playgrounds. Another beauty of Sullivan Park is that there is a dedicated play space for the littlest of kids to enjoy, along with several features to keep your older ones active.

Lakeshore Park (Novi)

The playground at Lakeshore features a unique American gladiator rope cage with space for kids to climb, crawl and practice their balance. The massive slide has a rope to climb up or a ramp to walk up and there are multiple seats and swing rides for kids to enjoy too.

Carpenter Lake Nature Preserve (Southfield)

Add this non-traditional park to your playground list. The ‘Rock Park’ is perfect for adventurous climbers who want test their skills on different terrain.

Stony Creek Metropark (Shleby Township)

A massive spiderweb cage, climbing walls and massive slides, Stony Creek Metropark’s playground is one of the most popular around town and will keep the kids busy for hours.
