Find holiday magic at The Ford House! From the brand-new Starry Lights display to popular Santa sightings, start making plans.


Starry Lights (November 18 – January 9)

Bundle up and take a magical stroll through the Ford House estate’s pathways to experience a wintry starry-sky themed show, featuring projected animations, and interactive light features. Tickets are $20, children’s tickets are $12 and can be purchased online at their website here.


Stone Soup Story Time (Tuesdays in November)

Listen to the story “Stone Soup” by Marcia Brown. After listening to the book, spend the day exploring the Ford House grounds.


Family PERFORM! Dance Concert (November 13)

Get up, move along and experience the art of dance up close. This interactive dance concert with Wayne State University dance companies To Sangana and Company One is for the whole family. We hope you’ll want to clap your hands along to the drums and even learn some dance moves from the performers. Be inspired to express your true self.


Cookies with Santa (December 4-18)

Listen in as your little ones share their Christmas wishes with the elf himself. Children will meet with Santa from a safe social distance by the fireplace in the lakeside St. Clair Room in our new Administration Building. Tickets are $15 for children, adults are free.


Breakfast with Santa (December 12th & 19th)

Have breakfast with Santa this holiday season at Ford House in our new Visitor Center event space! Santa will be visiting with guests during their meal to hear your child share their Christmas wishes.
