Families can also reserve a spot on the Memory Lane Train for a unique 360 experience.

Rosa Parks Circle Ice Rink

Skate downtown at Rosa Parks Circle Ice Rink. The Rink opens for the season on Friday, December 11th and costs $3 for adults and $1 for youth. Skate rental is available with entrance fee and restrooms are open to the public.

Explore Christmas & Holiday Traditions at Meijer Gardens

Train lovers can check out the Railway Garden exhibition that incorporates garden design, miniature buildings handmade from natural materials, and model trolleys and trains.

Shop (and Swim) Downtown

Downtown Grand Rapids is aglow for the holiday season and there are plenty of local shops to find gifts needed from your list. Extend your stay and after a pre or post dinner stroll through the city to take in the lights, take a family dip in the pool at one of these downtown hotels.
