Zehnder’s Snowfest

Museum Adventures

Keep warm and learn more about Michigan history at local museums. The Frankenmuth Historical Museum has 10 galleries that tells the story of the town from its German founding in the mid-1800s to present day.  The newest exhibit is great for kids and spotlights the music history of Frankenmuth with instruments all ages can play. The Michigan Heroes Museum features displays that honor the men and women of service.

Enjoy a Family Dinner

Frankenmuth requires a family dinner. Turn off the phones and enjoy a fried chicken dinner (and buttered noodles) at Zehnder’s or Bavarian Inn (the American v. Lafayette of mid-Michigan). Afterwards, take a walk through downtown and find grab a sweet treat at Frankenmuth Fudge Kitchen.

Make the day last longer and book a stay at Zehnder’s Splash Village Hotel & Waterpark.
