5 Reasons To Visit Frankenmuth This Holiday Season

frankenmuth

You don’t have to travel far to have fun. Head to Michigan’s Little Bavaria for timeless family fun in Frankenmuth.

Kick off the Christmas season with Frozen Fun Night in Frankmenuth on Friday, November 26th. There will be Santa visits, a light show, live entertainment and open skating at the BRAND NEW Frankenmuth Ice Rink in Zehnder Park.

Bring on the Holiday Cheer

Let the countdown to Christmas begin! Let the kids pick out an ornament for the tree, chat with Santa on the hotline and put on your favorite holiday album for the drive-thru light show at Bronner’s.

Visit Santa’s Reindeer Farm

Grandpa Tiny’s Farm is in full on holiday mode for this stroll through event where you will get to see how Santa has transformed the farm into his headquarters preparing for the big day. Meet Santa himself along with the reindeer in training. Bring a letter for Santa if you haven’t already mailed it!

Frankenmuth Christkindlmarkt

Join the Frankenmuth Farmers Market in a festive celebration of the wonders of Christmas! This beautiful pop-up street market will be packed with troves of treasure and treats for kicking off your holiday season. Winding in and around Frankenmuth’s beautiful downtown you will find musicians, hot foods, entertainment, carriage rides and more!

Enjoy a Family Dinner

Frankenmuth requires a family dinner. Turn off the phones and enjoy a fried chicken dinner (and buttered noodles) at Zehnder’s or Bavarian Inn (the American v. Lafayette of mid-Michigan). Afterwards, take a walk through downtown and find grab a sweet treat at Frankenmuth Fudge Kitchen.

Stay the night at Splash Village

Make the day last longer and book a stay at Zehnder’s Splash Village Hotel & Waterpark. The 50,000 square feet aquatic center features a six-story family raft ride and super loop body slide; zero-entry activity pool with water geysers, water basketball and volleyball, Action River, Splash Landing play area, Dumping Bucket, Giggling Gorge and Perilous Plunge 4 story tube slides, relax in the Whimsical Whirl Hot Tub or just float along the Crooked Brook Creek Lazy River. It’s A LOT and your kids will love it!
