Summit Gardens (Howell)

The new children’s playground in downtown Howell is adorable and lots of fun! A mini maze, colorful tents and curving slides offer whimsical amusement for little ones. Let them run around until the train comes and then let them sit by and watch in delight as the train runs across the track. Don’t leave before taking a stop across the street for a milkshake from M Street Bakery.

Maple Beach Park (Milford)

It’s not a great time for a swim, but you can still take in the scenic views from the new playground at Maple Beach at Kensington Metropark. Before or after you break in the new playscape, say hi to the animals at the Kensington Farm Center! OPENING DELAYED

Bassett Park (Royal Oak)

Get back to nature with a new nature inspired playscape coming to Bassett Park in Royal Oak this November. Kids can climb a tree to get to the slide, walk and crawl through faux logs and test their balance on rocks and ropes.

Kopper Park (Canton)

Take your littles to the new mini park in Canton. The Playground is part of the city’s goal of having a park within a 10-minute walk to every home by 2050. The play structure has slides, bouncers, duel swings and hands-on games. Synthetic turf will  be added to create rolling hills like the ones at popular Booth Park in Birmingham.
