Get ready for a good time! Metro Detroit welcomes 4 NEW amusement complexes to it’s family-friendly entertainment destination list this summer. 

If you need to ool off this summer with indoor fun or find the perfect place for your next birthday party or playdate, here are are the new  amusement complexes opening in metro Detroit.

Urban Air (Livonia) 

Wayne County is getting its own Urban Air! The new party palace opens soon and will have amentities that kids big, small, old and young can’t get enough of.

  • Leap of Faith + DropZone: Practice your flips, spins, or other amazing acrobatics, and land on a giant, inflatable airbag.
  • Lazer Fury:  Bumper-to-bumper traffic and fender benders have never been so fun.
  • Mini-Golf: Grab your putter and tee up for a big-time on the tiny course.
  • Warrior Course + Trapeze: Jump, bounce, and hold on tight! 
  • Indoor Skydiving: Experience the rush of free fall, with no harness, no chute and no plane.
  • Laser Tag: Set your phasers on fun as you gear up for the most intense laser tag game around
  • Tubes Playround: If you’re looking for more traditional fun – climb, crawl and slide your way through the massive playground.
  • Warrior Course: Ready, set race! See who can make it across the ninja warrior course fastest and without falling in the ball pit.
  • Wipeout + Battle Beam: Who can survive the longest and avoid getting kit by the long cushioned swinging bar? Jump, duck and do whatever to be the last one standing. Next battle ON the beam while fighting with foam swords.
  • Climbing Wall: How high can you climb? Let your littles challenge themselves and master a variety of cliffside adventures.
  • Sky Rider: Reach new heights on the Sky Rider. Kids 48 inches can strap in and zigzag along the overhead glider while taking in all the rides and attractions.
  • Ropes Course:  Your fearless littles can test their balance and agility on the overhead ropes course.
  • Trampoline Park: Let the kids wear themselves out by bouncing up, down and all around the APEX Trampoline park.

Urban Air (Sterling Heights) 

Urban Air Adventure Park in Sterling Heights already offers a full day of fun and later this summer their introducing a $1.6 million addition of a multi-level go-kart track.  Urban Air remains open daily.

  • Sky Rider: Reach new heights on the Sky Rider. Kids 48 inches can strap in and zigzag along the overhead glider while taking in all the rides and attractions.
  • Ropes Course:  Your fearless littles can test their balance and agility on the overhead ropes course.

  • Virtual Reality: Take a trip to the future with VR fun! Strap on a headset and fight robots and dragons in an alternative universe.

  • Spin Zone Bumper Cars: Take a spin and have fun playing hit and run in the bright bumper cars. Take the game next level at Flip Zone.  Flip Zone Bumper Cars turns the bumper cars you know upside down – literally.  Drive, bump, flip, spin, repeat!
  • Warrior Course: Ready, set race! See who can make it across the ninja warrior course fastest and without falling in the ball pit.
  • Wipeout + Battle Beam: Who can survive the longest and avoid getting kit by the long cushioned swinging bar? Jump, duck and do whatever to be the last one standing. Next battle ON the beam while fighting with foam swords.
  • Ball Games: Practice solo skills with a Slam Dunk competition or play a friendly game of Dodge Ball.
  • Trampoline Park: Let the kids wear themselves out by bouncing up, down and all around the APEX Trampoline park.

KUDOS (Taylor) 

KUDOS Taproom & Fieldhouse combines family fun and dining in a unique indoor/outdoor experience. The 50,000 square ft. facility, feature games for all ages with craft beer and street food for a complete experience. KUDOS is open daily.

BIG (Ypsilanti) 

BIG (Best In Games) is a new, modern amusement 74,000 sq ft complex featuring games, high speed Go Karts, and extreme adventure. Go Karting, Fowling and the arcade are open Thursday – Sunday. Official grand opening celebration for all attractions will be this summer.
