Back by popular demand, LittleGuide Detroit is hosting two Stroller Roll event in 2022! Mark your calendars and start making plans for FREE family fun!

LittleGuide Detroit’s Stroller Roll events are not a race, they are not a formal walk…you may not even get past the playground (and that’s ok)…it’s just a fun way to get out of the house and enjoy some fresh air together! Last year LittleGuide Detroit launched the Stroller Roll series and welcome over a thousand attendees at the Detroit Riverfront’s Dequindre Cut and Wayne County Park’s Nankin Mills Recreation Area located along Hines Drive. This year the Stroller Roll returns for more FREE family fun!

The first Stroller Roll of 2022 will be at Wayne County Park’s Nankin Mills along Hines Drive on Saturday, July 16th from 9am to 11am. Every Saturday during the summer months, six miles of Hines Drive from Nankin Mills to Outer Drive is closed to the public, allowing for safe open street usage by pedestrians and cyclists.

On July 16th the LittleGuide team will be out with complimentary snacks, Children’s Hospital of Michigan’s PANDA One Intensive Care Transport Team for touch-a-truck fans and a few ‘super’ friends from Laurel Princess Parties’ for meet and greets.

Call up your friends and plan a playdate. In addition to fun photo ops with our guests, there’s lots to do at Nankin Mills:

  • Playgrounds: Nankin Mills Recreation Area + Merriman Hallow (1 mile from Nankin Mills) + Perrin Recreation Area (3.4 miles from Nankin Mills)
  • Bike Tracks: Littles will love the dirt + pump bike tracks at Hawthorne Ridge Recreation Area (1 mile from Nankin Mills)
  • Fishing: Check out the new fishing spot at Nankin Lake Dam, slight north of the Nankin Mills Recreation Area

Free parking is available at 33325 Edward N Hines Dr, Westland, MI 48185.

Pre-register for LittleGuide Detroit’s Stroller Roll presented by Delta Dental at Nankin Mills in Westland and be entered to win a FREE party package from  Laurel Princess Parties!

The second Stroller Roll of 2022 will take place on Saturday, August 20th at Valade Park along the Detroit Riverfront.
