2021 Holiday Parades in Metro Detroit

Bundle up and watch a Santa parade for the holidays. Enjoy a daytime show or find a lighted parade, either way your kids will love it and so will you.

 

Lighted Santa Parade (St. Clair Shores)

Friday, November 19 @ 6pm

The annual St. Clair Santa parade will begin down River Road along Palmer Park! Santa will receive the key to the city and the city Christmas tree will be lighted immediately following the parade.

 

Holiday Lighted Parade (Northville)

Friday, November 19 @ 6:30pm

Hometown Holiday is a community celebration that kicks off the holiday season. The celebration begins with the parade and the ceremonial lighting of the Christmas tree in Town Square. Northville is decorated in holiday splendor to warm your hearts which will get you in the holiday spirit.

 

Christmas Parade (Wyandotte)

Saturday, November 20 @ 10am

The Parade route begins at Northline near the Police/Court Building and ends at Eureka Avenue. The parade begins at 10 am and usually runs approximately one hour. Wyandotte’s Christmas Parade often draws participation from local marching troupes, pipe and drum and marching bands, schools and organizations from throughout Michigan and Canada. The parade ends with Santa Claus!

 

Santa Claus Parade (Grosse Pointe)

Friday, November 26 @ 10am

Join us the morning after Thanksgiving for Grosse Pointe’s largest parade of the year! Parade will go from Kercheval Avenue from Lewiston in GP Farms to Cadieux in GP City.

 

Fantasy of Lights (Howell)

Friday, November 26 @ 7pm

This spectacular nighttime parade includes dozens of illuminated floats, marching bands, over 50 other entries, and, of course, Santa Claus.

 

Santaland Parade (Garden City)

Saturday, November 27 @ 10am

Join Garden City’s oldest and most prestigious event, the 2021 Garden City Santaland Parade. Along with watching from the parade route, the parade will be live streamed in Facebook and YouTube to thousands across the world.

 

Winterfest Parade (Taylor)

Saturday, November 27 @ 4:50pm

The Taylor parade will step off from the Recreation Center and travel to Heritage Park.

 

Lighted Christmas in Toyland Parade (Lake Orion)

Sunday, December 5 @ 4pm

The Orion Area Lighted Holiday Parade is held in downtown Lake Orion, Michigan on the first Saturday of December every year and the 2021 theme is Toyland

 

Merry & Bright Parade (Livonia)

Sunday, December 5 @ 4pm

The Merry & Bright Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting is back! The parade will kick off from Frost Middle School and travel to the Livonia City Hall south entrance, where there will be a tree lighting before families can enjoy some free activities at the Livonia Public Library’s Bennett Civic Center Library.

 

Royal Oak Jingle & Light Parade (Royal Oak)

Saturday, December 11 @ 7pm

The Light Parade that will take place on Main Street, between Lincoln and Eleven Mile, beginning at 7 p.m.  The parade will feature floats from The Parade Company, local businesses and upward of fifty organizations. At the conclusion of the Royal Oak Jingle Light Parade, the Mayor will welcome Santa Claus & Mrs. Claus to the City of Royal Oak and present them with the key to the city at 3rd & Main Street. After Santa, Mrs. Claus and their reindeer will be available for free photos.
