2020 Metro Detroit Fall Festival Guide

Bundle up and get ready for fall fun! From hayrides and apple cider to circus acts and carnival rides, there are lots of festivals and fairs heading to metro Detroit.
Fall Harvest: Trackless Train and Corn Maze (Taylor)
October 3 & 4, 10 & 11
Enjoy a ride on the trackless train, make your way through the corn maze, visit your favorite farm animals, and snack on a donut. Pre-registration is required to ensure social distancing and capacity limitations. Masks will be required.
Portable Pumpkin Patch (Canton)
Saturday, October 3
Have a safely distanced pumpkin patch experience come right to your home this fall! In partnership with an area farm, Canton Leisure Services staff will deliver a mini pumpkin patch right to your front lawn! Visits will be approximately 20 minutes long and will include a cider and donut delivery. Be sure to put on your best plaid for a great photo opp!
Stone Wall Pumpkin Festival (Rochester Hills)
Saturday, October 10 & 11
Guests are invited to carve a pumpkin and place it on the stone walls surrounding the Museum property. Your registration includes 2 pumpkins and the use of carving tools, patterns, and a private/sanitized table for up to 6 people. Additional pumpkins can be purchased while supplies last for $5/pumpkin. Evening lighting of the pumpkins runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and is Drive-thru ONLY.

Funtober @ Hess-Hathaway Park (Waterford)

Grab your family and come out to Hess-Hathaway Park for a local color tour on a hayride. Visit the farm and stroll with one of our farmers on an official animal tour. The campfire will be warm and ready for roasting marshmallows and making s’mores. Pumpkins ($2-$4 each), concessions will be available for purchase. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Socially Distant Fall Fun Fest @ Northfield Library (Whitmore Lake)
September 21 to October 31
Head to Northfield Township Library for Harvest Displays, Crafternoons, and a scarecrow contest. Build a scarecrow and we will display it at the library. All participating scarecrows are due by Monday, October 26 at 11 am. The scarecrows will be judged throughout the week and winners will be announced on Halloween, Saturday, October 31. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
