We have been spending a lot of time with our partners lately but have really missed quality time. Whether you call a sitter or wait till bedtime, here are fun ways to reconnect with your spouse.

Fancy Dinner

Get dressed up and enjoy a night on the town. Make reservations to one of the hottest restaurants in downtown Detroit.

Fore Play

Rent a hitting bay and practice your swing at Topgolf Detroit in Auburn Hills or have old school fun with a game of mini golf.

Late Night Laughs

Catch a live comedy show at Detroit Shipping Co in Midtown or stream a comedy special on Netflix.

Take To The Trees

Reach new heights at TreeRunner Adventure Park for ziplines and rope walks. Keep it closer to home and cuddle up by the bonfire in the backyard after the kids go to bed.

A Good Scare

Get your heart rate up with a stroll through a haunted house or cuddle up on the couch while watching your favorite scary movie.

Break A Sweat

Take a deep breath and relax with Citizen Yoga, they are offering in person and live stream classes.

Get Creative

Explore the galleries of the Detroit Institute of Arts or Cranbrook Art Museum or raid your kid’s art supplies to get crafty at home. You can get grown-up art to go kits at Bee’s Knee’s Pottery and the Creative Arts Studio.

Have A Game Night

See who gets the highest score – best 2 out of 3 – and reserve a bowling lane at your favorite alley. Stay home and pull out a board game (not Monopoly) or get gaming with the PS4, XBox or Switch.

Make A Toast

You’re survived a pandemic with kids, nothing can stop you after this. Take in the city from the top of the world, or rooftop of The Monarch Club. Need to stick around after bedtime, treat yourself to craft cocktails (to-go) from Castalia.

Sweet Dreams

Plan a staycation  and book an overnight at a local hotel. If that’s more sitter hours than you can conjure – treat yourself to new bedding or nightwear to at least feel cozy and refreshed. And if you don’t already have a pillow topper – it’s a gamechanger.
