15 Kid-Friendly Events Happening In Metro Detroit This Summer

Summer will be here before we know it and we can’t wait! Here are 15 summer events and activities we’re looking forward to happening in metro Detroit.
Mini-Golf @ Cranbrook Art Museum // May 25th – September 25th
Do something new! Sink a putt at one of nine custom-designed, art-inspired holes located outdoors on the beautiful grounds of Cranbrook Art Museum adjacent to the Orpheus Fountain.
Monroe Street Midway // May 27th – September 5th
Strap on some skates and throwback downtown at the outdoor roller rink
Dinosauria // May 28 – September 5
Something(s) BIG is coming to the Detroit Zoo and you don’t want to miss it.
New Center Park // June 3rd – August 26th
Spend your summer nights in New Center watching outdoor movies and life stage shows!
The Great Campout // Friday, June 4th
You don’t have to go far for a camping trip – join the Backyard Campout in Farmington Hills.
Big Bounce America // June 10 – 12
Experience the World’s Largest Bounce House and the coolest party in the 16,000 sq ft inflatable giant.

Ford Fireworks // Monday, June 27th
